REGISTRATION AND WELCOME RECEPTION ON SUNDAY, JULY 4.

The registration and welcome reception will take place at the "Palace of the Autonomy - UNAM", a historic building located in the downtown of Mexico City close to the Templo Mayor (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Templo_Mayor) which is considered the main temple of the Aztecs and the "heart" of today's Mexico City.
Free bus transportation from the hotels to the "Palace of the Autonomy - UNAM" will be provided, starting at 15:30 hrs. Members of our staff will be at the hotels to help you. The registration desk opens at 16:00 hrs and closes at 19:00 hrs. We expect the representatives of the local government of Mexico City and authorities of the hosting universities and institutions to arrive at 19:00 hrs to welcome all the participants of GR19. The welcome reception will finish at 21:00 hrs. Buses will take you back to the hotels.
If you prefer to take a taxi from the hotel to the location of the welcome reception, please ask the recepcionist to get a "taxi de sitio" for you. The address is:
